Volunteer Registration

Welcome to the Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America (ESFNA) Volunteer Program! We are thrilled to have you consider joining our team. By applying to be a volunteer, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that I am volunteering my time and services to ESFNA without expectation of wages, salary, or other financial compensation, other than the stated benefits for volunteers (e.g., t-shirt, certificate).
2. Code of Conduct: I agree to abide by ESFNA's Volunteer Code of Conduct (which will be provided during orientation), which includes maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professional demeanor at all times, and adhering to ESFNA's principles of neutrality regarding political, religious, and ethnic affiliations in my official capacity as a volunteer.
3. Duties and Responsibilities: I agree to perform my assigned volunteer duties to the best of my ability, follow the instructions of my supervisors (ESFNA EC members or designated team leads), and attend the mandatory pre-event orientation.
4. Confidentiality: I may become aware of confidential information during my volunteer service. I agree to keep such information confidential and not disclose it to any third party without ESFNA's explicit consent.
5. Photography/Videography Release: I consent to ESFNA using my likeness in photographs, videos, or other digital media taken during the event for promotional, archival, or other ESFNA-related purposes without compensation.
6. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability: I understand that participation as a volunteer may involve certain risks of physical injury or other harm. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge ESFNA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and other volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with my volunteer services, including those allegedly attributed to negligent acts or omissions.
7. Personal Property: I understand that ESFNA is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to my personal property during my volunteer service.
8. Termination of Volunteer Service: I understand that ESFNA reserves the right to terminate my volunteer service at any time, with or without cause or notice, if my conduct is deemed detrimental to ESFNA, its mission, or its participants.
9. Accuracy of Information: I certify that all information provided in this registration form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
10. Agreement: By checking the box below, I signify that I have read, understood, and agree to these Volunteer Terms and Conditions.
